Cinderella cake

My daughter was turning 6 and she asked me for a barbie doll Cinderella cake. After blowing the candles and eating the cake with her friends she could keep and play with the barbie doll. I also did in fondant a small cushion with the slipper that Cinderella lost while running down the stairway of the castle.

My husband was turning 40. I decided to do a 'farewell 39 cake' a few days before his birthday. He is an Apple geek so he got an Apple cake.

The owl tree

I made this cake for my sister's birthday. As she loves owls, I decided to do an owl family. The one in yellow is grandpa, mummy and daddy are the white and violet ones.  They have two young kids and a baby owl. They all live happily in the forest surrounded by butterflies and flowers.

Flower pot

This is a quick and simple cake to make.  A rectangular chocolate or vanilla cake covered with large strips of fondant.
The flowers pots are all edible. The flower pot is a small chocolate cake covered by brown and green fondant, with tiny dots as grass. The stem is made with a long biscuit (like Mikado biscuit) covered by fondant. The leafs and flowers are made with fondant.

Tea set

These 2 chocolat cake covered with white fondant are decorated with a mini fondant tea set, cake and cookies.

The mini tea set is in yellow fondant : tea pot, tea cup, creamer and sugar bowl. In the table, there is a three colours cake.

All the decorations are edible!
