How about creating fun activities with the kids?

Give them a sponge cake covered with fondant which looks like a hand bag and ask them to decorated.
They will love the idea!

They can choose from different colors of fondant. Then they need to warm each piece in their hands and make a ball.

 With a rolling pin they can flatten the fondant balls.

Then they will be able to cut forms with cutters, do holes with a toothpicks, make nice petals with a teaspoon... just give them a selection of kitchenware that you have at home.

This is the result. The one on the left was done by a 3 years old girl and the other one by a 6 years old girl.
